Total of 8 teams only will participate in this prestigious tournament.

Teams will be divided into 2 groups for competitive league play.

This tournament will be played with Red Nivia tennis ball only.

Fresh Ball
Each innings starts with a new ball for fair and consistent play.
โ๏ธ Ball Replacement Rules
Before 4 Overs: If a ball is lost or broken before 4 overs of an innings, a new ball will be issued immediately.
After 4 Overs: If lost or broken after 4 overs of an innings, the old (previously used) ball will be issued to maintain game flow.

Power Play Regulations
- Power Play Duration: First 6 overs are designated as power play overs
- Fielding Restriction (Power Play): Only 2 players can field outside of the 30-yard circle during power play overs
- Fielding Restriction (Non-Power Play): During non-power play overs, maximum of 5 fielders can be outside the 30-yard circle
- No Ball Penalty: Failure to adhere to fielding restrictions during a delivery will be called as a “NO BALL” by the umpire

Teams must strategically place their fielders during power play to maximize boundary protection while maintaining attacking options. The 2-fielder rule during power play creates exciting batting opportunities.

Innings & Match Duration
Match Timeline
First Innings: Approximately 1.5 hours (75โ90 minutes)
Innings Break: Around 10 minutes for tactics review and pitch preparation
Second Innings: Approximately 1.5 hours (75โ90 minutes)
Total Duration: 3 hours including all intervals
Critical Guidelines
Team Reporting: Teams must be presented 60 minutes before the match
Delay Penalty: Delays exceeding 10 minutes may result in a walkover to the opposing team
Umpire Authority: On-field umpire’s decision is absolutely final and binding
- Captain’s Responsibility: It is the captain’s sole responsibility to uphold the spirit of the game through their team’s conduct
- Argument Penalties: Any prolonged arguments by a team will result in a walkover to the opposition (umpire & organizer decision)
- Ground Walkout: If any team walks out of the ground in protest during playtime, the team will be disqualified from the tournament
- Misbehaviour Clause: If any team misbehaves or abuses umpires (inside or outside the field) during the match, they will be disqualified
- Tie Procedure: If a tie occurs, a Super Over will be held to determine the winner

A. The team batting second in the match will bat first in the super over.
B. 3 batsmen from each team can bat and 1 bowler from each team will bowl.
C. Entire fielding unit is allowed to field.
D. However, if the super over is tied, the winner will be decided as per IPL rules.

- Rain Interruption: If a match is stopped due to rain, the match will be reduced as per IPL rules
- Weather Contingency: In case of bad or inclement weather or unavoidable circumstances, the tournament committee reserves the right to mop up the pitch during the match in consultation with umpires
- Schedule Modification: The tournament committee reserves the right to alter the time, date, and venue of the match under special conditions

Batsman Rules
- LBW Not Applicable: LBW (Leg Before Wicket) is not applicable for this tournament. Leg byes are applicable instead
- No Ball Consequences: All NO BALLS (as per ICC rules: frontfoot, sideline, above the waist, fielding restrictions, etc.) result in a free hit in the next delivery
- Field Changes: The field can change only if the batsman strikes changed (bat change)
- ICC Compliance: All other ICC cricket rules are applicable as they are

Bowling Rules
๐ Match Format
20 overs match with 4-4-4-4-4 maximum overs distribution per bowler (no bowler can bowl more than 4 overs)
- Bouncer Limit: One bouncer is allowed per over, provided the ball passes between the shoulder and the head
- Head Ball: The ball passing over the head will be declared as a wide
- Free Hit Provision: Free hit is allowed for all NO BALLS
- Bowling Action: If a bowler chucks during their bowling action, the umpire has the right to warn the bowler immediately
- Repeated Offence: If the bowler continues the same action after warning, the bowler cannot bowl for the entire tournament
- ICC Compliance: All ICC rules are applicable as they are

Auction Bidding Rules
- Starting Bid: Starting bid will be Rs 10,000 for each team; after every call, 500 Rs will be increased incrementally
- Retained Players: Only 1 player can be retained by each team; if the franchise (owner) wants to play, they can participate as a retained player
- Squad Size: Each team must take exactly 15 players, including the owner (if interested to play); do not exceed 15
- Payment Term: After the team auction, whoever has taken the team must pay the bid amount to management within a week
- Management Compliance: Franchise (owners) must follow all rules and regulations given by management (e.g., match timings, unwanted arguments)
- Base Bid per Player: The base starting bid is 500 Rs per player

You need 3 players with a balance of 5000 Rs. You must keep 500 Rs for each player minimum:
Example Distribution: 4000 Rs for Player 1 + 500 Rs for Player 2 + 500 Rs for Player 3 = 5000 Rs total
This ensures fair distribution and compliance with minimum player bid rules.

Dress Code
- Uniform Provision: Management will provide the T-shirt and track pants for all teams
- Shoes Mandatory: All players must wear shoes compulsorily. If anyone plays a match without shoes, 10 runs will be deducted from their team’s score
- Dress Code Compliance: If any dress code mismatch is found, 10 runs will be deducted from the team’s score

Special Rules & Provisions
๐ Runner Appointment
If a batsman is experiencing discomfort and is not able to run efficiently, a runner can be appointed based on the opposition captain’s permission. This ensures fair play while accommodating unforeseen circumstances.
Weather-Related Provisions
